We would like to introduce TorrentTags (
www.torrenttags.com), a new service that helps prevent piracy. TorrentTags allows you to declare ownership of the copyrighted content that you don't want to be distributed through torrents, and inform torrent users which files infringe copyright.
After
registering on our site, you can submit
claimsto our database manually or using our
API. We accept claims without any content filtration or limits to quantity, adding them to our database immediately.
Our system facilitates the prevention of copyrighted content downloads, by informing users directly about whether the torrent files they download contain copyright infringing content. Torrent users can
check torrents for claimson our site for free.
Currently, our site is in beta, with the bulk of our claims obtained from Chilling Effects (www.chillingeffects.org).
